Go to a typing test website (e.g., 10FastFingers, TypingTest.com, Monkeytype). Select test duration (1, 3, or 5 minutes). Place fingers on home row. When ready, start typing the displayed text exactly as shown, including spaces and punctuation. Do not look at the keyboard. After time ends, the site shows your WPM, accuracy, and errors. Take 3 tests and average them for reliable results. For job applications, use a 5-minute test.
